The Chinese Rhenish Church Hong Kong is the first congregation established by The Chinese Rhenish Church in Hong Kong. The first Sunday service was held on 10th September 1899. The church building at 86A Bonham Road was founded in July 1914, with the opening ceremony on 1st August. Now we have a total of around 740 people who attend services each Sunday, and there are also around 100 children and teenagers who attend Sunday school and fellowship.
In 2000, when facing the 21st century, Chinese Rhenish Church Hong Kong re-oriented its mission. We are developing into a missional church and making disciples in the community, with worshipping lives building up lives. We wish that we could build a worshipping community on the foundation of God's Word, so that we can become a delightful church in God's eyes in the following perspectives: Christian education, fellowship, evangelism, overseas missions and community services. We are a spiritual home for Christians and a neighborhood church for the community. We hope people in our neighborhood can know Christ and receive His blessings through our services and witness to them.
